Ambient intelligence

Together with Matjaž Gams, I teach the course Ambient intelligence at Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School. The course consists of an introductory lecture and seminar work. The literature for the course are selected papers provided below. The seminar work should be ready for publication at least at a local conference such as Information Society (preferrably it should be published). The students also present their work to each other in 30-minute presentations. The assessment consists of an oral exam (50 %), and an evaluation of the seminar work and its presentation (50 %).

Ambient intelligence tutorial

This is the tutorial I gave to the Cognitive Systems Group at the University of Bremen in 2012. It contains some introductory and advanced topics in ambient intelligence (related to my work and the work of my colleagues at the time), as well as some introduction to machine learning.
