Starting the Waste Quantification Solutions To Limit Environmental Stress (WASTELESS)

We are starting the Waste Quantification Solutions To Limit Environmental Stress (WASTELESS) Horizon Europe project. There are around 88 million tonnes of food wasted each year in the European Union. The project aims to develop innovative methods to measure food waste in various contexts and for various food groups, which is an important step towards reducing the waste. The main task of our department will be to develop a decision support system for selecting the best approach to measure food waste, as well as to reduce it.
