Try David Baldacci (suspense), Laurell K. Hamilton (Anita Blake
series), Martha Grimes (mysteries all named after British pubs), Dr.
Seuss ("If I Ran The Zoo" may give you a new perspective on the medical
establishment), Rosamunde Pilcher (probably a bigger hit with women)
and Colleen McCullough's Great men of Rome series- these are historical
fiction begining in ancient Rome before the birth of Julius Caesar and
all 6 books are tops. Be happy to suggest more books & authors if
you'll post they kinds of things you like to read-
