Code: This is the activation code provided to you by the University.
Full name: Enter your first and last name, separated by a space. Avoid using middle initials with periods, or middle names.
E-mail address: Please enter your e-mail address twice to make sure we have it correctly. You will need to receive e-mail at this address in order to complete your registration. We urge you not to use AOL, Yahoo or Hotmail as your e-mail address. An institutional e-mail address, if properly entered, is less likely to experience delays or non-delivery, assuming you have tested it and have received and sent e-mail successfully.

  Check that all the information in the form is correct and then click the 'OK' button. You will be given your UserID immediately. Your password will arrive via e-mail.

Help with your Login

  • If you are using the service for the first time, please carefully check the e-mail which we sent you, and make sure you copy the User ID and password exactly the way they are written in the e-mail. Do not use the registration code - once you have received the welcome e-mail you no longer need the code.
  • "My e-mail has not delivered my password yet !". There several reasons why this might happen. Most commonly, you entered your e-mail address incorrectly when you made the account. If you use AOL™, Hotmail™, or Yahoo™, you may experience considerable delays in delivery, or no delivery at all. These services do not guarantee delivery of mail, and may interrupt delivery for a host of reasons. If possible, when you make your account, use an e-mail account provided by your institution or one from a local internet provider.
  • If you cannot recover your password, please contact your administrator(the person who sent or gave you the code) before contacting Chalk and Wire. This person can reset your password temporarily to let you in (change it once you do get access).
  • If you have lost your password, try the 'forgot password' link on the login form. It will send you another e-mail with your password in it.
  • Access tutorials to help you learn how to use our services.This will open in another browser window. You require Macromedia Flash Player to use the animated movies. There is a download link for this player on the main tutorial page.
