Webblogs
Have you ever been in a class called Webblogs? I am, and it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. In weblogging class, you get to express yourself. You get to have fun with your writing.
I enjoy writing, and I think other people will too. Even though it is a lot of work, it is A LOT of fun. Many people think that elementary students aren't capable of writing such powerful and such wonderful writing. When I think about it, it makes me mad because our elementary students are taught well and are VERY smart. As a matter of fact, here's a story on how someone can become a better writer...
In third, fourth, and fifth grade, we would, and are always watching CNN Student News. This helps me and others be more aware of what is going on around us. One example is when people discovered that stores had food that was expired. It made me want to check the labels on food items.
I put in this small "story" because one day I can write about it and make it more interesting. I hope that middle school teachers will let students blog.

I agree with you- teachers sometimes don't think students are good writers-
but they are. Sometimes they have great ideas but just aren't sure how to get
started with their stoies. Sounds like you have great ideas for stories and you
should keep writing!

are given the chance to show how good their writing is, mabey people
will respect us more. We will be able to show our personality
