ASK A QUESTIONQUESTION FORM
This form is recommended for people up to age 13. If you do not fall into that category, please use our adult reference form. Also, please review our Privacy Statement before submitting your question.
You can fill out this form if you have a question that you need help with. (You may want to ask an adult to help you.) One of our librarians will try to answer your question and will write to you to tell you how the search is going. We cannot help you if you need an answer in < 3 days. Please do not send your question to us if you need an answer in less than three days.
I. Tell us about you: We need some information about you before we can answer your question. Please make sure that you enter your e-mail address correctly and completely. (Example: elmo@aol.com) If you do not enter your real Internet e-mail address, we will not be able to answer your question. **AOL Users** - If your parents have mail controls turned on, they will need to add iplref@ipl.org to your allowed mail list in order for us to send e-mail to you.
II. Question:
1. Will you use this information for a school report? Remember that we can't do your research for you, but we can help you get started and give you some places to look.
2. Write your question in the following space. If you have more than one question, please fill out another form. Please include the following:
3. How long does your report need to be? (Skip this question if it doesn't apply.)
4. Are there certain places your teacher does NOT want you to get the answer? (Check any of the items you can NOT use.) (Skip this question if it doesn't apply.)
5. List any places you have already looked for the answer.
Don't forget to check your school or public library for answers too! Sometimes the best information isn't on the Internet.
Before you send this form, look at your e-mail address again and make sure it is correct and complete. Also, if you have not read our Privacy Statement, please do so. Thanks!
