The following sample searches illustrate common methods for
searching for parent and subsidiary company information:
These searches use a search method called segment
searching.
Corporate Hierarchy
Use the COMPANY segment to find information about a
company's subsidiaries, branches, and affiliates. For example, take
the following steps to find the companies affiliated with PepsiCo,
Inc.:
- Click Search on the LexisNexis® toolbar.
- Click the News & Business source
tab.
- Click the following links in the order listed to search

companies of businesses with $10 billion or more in sales:

Ultimate Parent Location
Use a U-PARENT-CN segment search to retrieve documents
about companies whose ultimate parents are located in a specific
company. For example, take the following steps to find companies
whose ultimate parent company is located in New Zealand:
- Click Search on the LexisNexis® toolbar.
- Click the News & Business source
tab.
- Click the following links in the order listed to search

(motorcycles, bicycles, and parts):
