	I don't find any form of rape 'funny'. Rape is about power, not sex, so the sexual persuasion of the rapist is irrelevant. adequacy.org -- because it isn't

	I think what he means is, why is it often deemed more socially and morally acceptable to make jokes about homosexual rape than heterosexual rape? I's a valid question, and the ideal answer would be "it isn't". Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case.

I's a valid question, and the ideal answer would be "it isn't". Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. Well, if you're putting it like that, I suppose you have to consider the audience. Women are sensitive creatures and aren't going to find any sort of rape particularly funny. Men might find both kinds funny, but they can't laugh so much at hetero rape (ie men raping women) because of the moral campaigning done throughout the country against it. They can't laugh at men hitting women or racist jokes for much the same reason. However, men raping men is a kind of loophole, as is women hitting men, or the same way you can laugh at the Bhangra-man or Ali G taking the piss out of their respective stereotypes without feeling like a white supremacist. adequacy.org -- because it isn't

I don't like the fact that this is the case. I suppose the Ali G example is much less harsh than the others, but rape jokes are about as low as it gets. It's not funny at all, and any man who does find it funny doesn't deserve any respect.

But Sacha Baron-Cohen (AKA Ali G) is Jewish, and certainly isn't making fun of his own stereotype. He's actually deriding blacks and asians, but the fact that one oppressed minority is mocking another oppressed minority seems to have confused everyone and the liberals aren't quite sure whether or not they can demonise him without opening themselves to accusations of racism. Either that, or everyone thinks he genuinely is black/asian.

	Actually, I think his humourous appeal was never really the parody of youth culture, but more his interviews, where he was a very smart man pretending to be a dumb man, and he made fools out of his guests. His guests, generally, wanted to get their message across to 'the kids' and thought they understood youth culture, but clearly didn't. Personally, my favourite black comedian is still Rich Pryor. adequacy.org -- because it isn't

	While reading this post, a friend of mine came in and said the following. "When I see a man raping a man, I laugh so hard that it hurts.... But when I see a man raping a woman, I just kind of chuckle." It's an idea... I agree more with becuse it isnt. Shinkansen!! Shinkansen!! Because 30,000 burning nuns can't be wrong...

	There is a strong relationship between comedy and horror. For men, heterosexual rape is something that happens to others. Homosexual rape could possibly happen to them. It hits closer to home, and personal horror twists into laughter. Now c'mon piggy, give me a ride. Bet I can make you squeal like a pig! 	Liberalist society does not value men. They are mowed down wholesale in war, and encouraged to act violently, and work themselves to early graves. It's funny to think of a man being raped in the same way that's it's funny to think of a dog on fire, or people being horribly mangled in car wrecks. In other words, funny only to a sick person.
