Madonna biography:

Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone was born on August 16, 1958, in Bay City, Michigan. Madonna is a mass media phenomenon, dancer, actress, singer and musician. She is the most successful female singer-songwriter of all time. Raised Roman Catholic, Madonna has a horde of siblings, and an occasionally has used her confirmation name, Veronica. Dancing is where Madonna had her beginning and earned her a scholarship to the University of Michigan. Madonna left the University after two years to make her name in the city of New York. In search of the big dream, nude Madonna got on a bus to New York in 1977, searching for her future with a band called the Breakfast Club. Legend has it that she set down in Times Square with only thirty-five dollars in her pocket.
