Our first foray into the Halls of Knowledge is Hellboy 101. Hellboy started as an awesome comic book series created by Mike Mignola and is about to launch on the big screen as a super-cool film directed by Guillermo del Toro (Blade II). Mignola’s universe is a vast and awe-inspiring one, filled with bizarre and exciting characters, supernatural conspiracies, magic and ass-kicking action. The film is coming to theatres on April 2nd, and here you’ll find all you need to know to become a Hellboy expert.

As with any syllabus, we begin with the fundamentals: Organizations, Individuals, and Creatures. Armed with the knowledge of who’s who and what's what in Mignola’s own "rogues gallery," graduate to a detailed timeline we like to call "The History of Hellboy."
