The American Water Works Association Research Foundation (AWWARF) is seeking 19 proposals for research in a broad range of areas associated with drinking-water treatment and supply. AWWARF expects to issue two RFPs for research projects, allocating a total of $6.4 million in funding for all winners. The RFP will be available via the AWWARF web site on or before March 15, and proposals will be due in May and in July. California Air Resources Board BACT Clearinghouse is a database developed by the Air Resources Board staff and staffs from various air pollution control and air quality management districts. It allows environmental agency staff, companies, and others to identify pollution prevention and control measures determined to be BACT for various source categories.

California Air Resources Board: Diesel Emission Control Verifications
The CARB Diesel Emissions Control Strategies Verification Program verifies the performance of emissions control technologies for both mobile and stationary source diesel engines.  The program also addresses alternate diesel fuels.  The site is useful for those looking for clean diesel options and technology developers seeking verification of their technologies' performance.

The Coatings Guide and Solvent Alternatives Guide provide pollution prevention information on environmentally preferable materials and products for painting/coating and solvents/cleaning/degreasing, respectively.

DEQ Air Consultants List
The DEQ Office of Small Business Assistance developed a listing of consultants doing work in Virginia that offer air pollution control related services such as permit application assistance, equipment selection, engineering, maintenance, monitoring, modelling, stack testing, compliance auditing, and pollution prevention assessment, among others.

The National Environmental Service Center provides technical assistance and information about drinking water, wastewater, environmental training, and solid waste management to communities serving fewer than 10,000 individuals.  NESC includes the National Small Flows Clearinghouse, National Drinking Water Clearinghouse,  National Onsite Demonstration Program, and National Environmental Training Center for Small Communities.

The New and Emerging Environmental Technologies (NEET) Clean Air Technologies Database  is an on-line repository for information about technologies that prevent, remove, destroy, sample, monitor, or model air pollutant emissions from stationary, mobile, and indoor sources. NEET contains information about technologies for improving air quality that are commercially available, as well as technologies that are currently being developed.

The South Coast Air Quality Management District Technology Advancement Program uses cooperative partnerships with private industry, academic and research institutions, technology developers, and government agencies to cosponsor projects intended to demonstrate the successful use of clean fuels and technologies that lower or eliminate emissions.

EPA Environmental Technologies Opportunities Portal: ETOP links to governmental and non-governmental programs that foster the use and acceptance of innovative technologies through collaborative recognition and incentives or advocacy and information programs. ETOP was established as a result of a Congressional mandate through the FY 2003 House Appropriations Conference Report that directed EPA to develop a “one-stop-shop” office to coordinate similar programs that foster private and public sector development of new, cost-effective environmental technologies. http://www.epa.gov/etop.
