GECCO 2024 CONFERENCE REPORT

The Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO) is a key scientific event in the area of genetic and evolutionary computation held annually under the sponsorship of ACM. This year it took place in Melbourne, Australia, 14-18 July 2024 (https://gecco-2024.sigevo.org/HomePage).

In their presentation at the Department of Intelligent Systems on 27 August 2024, members of the Computational Intelligence Group Bogdan Filipič, Andrejaana Andova and Jordan Cork, who participated in GECCO 2024, outlined the conference structure and summarized the highlights from tutorials, workshops, keynotes, technical sessions, and the two papers they presented at the conference.
