Successful collaboration of Jožef Stefan Institute and Kolektor Group in Artemis project COPCAMS

In Artemis project COPCAMS (COgnitive & Perceptive CAMeraS), Jožef Stefan Institute (Computational Intelligence Group, Department of Intelligent Systems) and Kolektor Group d.o.o. developed an embedded intelligent platform for product quality control. It is based on machine vision and predictive models constructed through machine learning. It is now in use in manufacturing of graphite commutators for automotive industry in Kolektor. The methodology was successfully demonstrated in the production environment on 19 April 2016 and presented at the final project review in Brussels on 28 September 2016.
