Presentation on Master thesis given by Hristijan Gjoreski.

The presentation is about an approach to fall detection with inertial and location wearable sensors that exploits activity recognition to identify activities that may be the result of a fall. Activity recognition as a standalone task is also presented. The combination of the inertial and location wearable sensors exploits the advantages of both systems and gives useful information about the user, which cannot be extracted by using only one type of sensors.
