place at Junior Researcher Contest with GIS project on former Yugoslavia. This and next year I also attended two Summer Schools of Computer Science
at Aster d.o.o.. In 1993 I was awarded with bronze medal at
5th International Olympiad in Informatics, Mendoza, Brazil.
As a University team member at ACM International Collegiate
Programming Contest, Prague 1998, we achieved 10th place. Meanwhile worked for Ring d.o.o.
on various database-related projects.
In 1999 I received B.Sc. in Computer Science at University of Ljubljana,
Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics with thesis
"Automatic classification of job descriptions". This year also worked on
TurboCluster Server
project with Active Toools d.o.o. for
TurboLinux, Inc.. Our product got
Top Web Solution award at Linux Business Expo held at Comdex Fall '99 and
Corporate IT Best Product winner for enterprise-class customers at
IT 2000 Sydney Conference in Australia.
Since 1999, I’m a postgraduate student of Computer Science at University of Ljubljana,
Faculty for Computer Science and Informatics.
I’m a research assistant at Department of Intelligent Systems (E8)
at Jozef Stefan Institute. In spring 2002 I received M. Sc. degree
with thesis "Multi-Agent Cluster Server". I the first half of 2003 I was a consultant at Daisy Technologies Inc. Now I am working on my PhD thesis, to be completed in 2005.
